Cor*rade" (k?r-r?d"), v. t. [L. corradere, -rasum; cor- + radere to rub.]

1. To gnaw into; to wear away; to fret; to consume. [Obs.] Dr. R. Clerke.

2. (Geol.) To erode, as the bed of a stream. See Corrosion.
